Robert Robinson Taylor is the first known black graduate with a degree in architecture of MIT in 1892, first professionally-educated, black architect in America and architect of Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama. In the spirit of Robert Robinson Taylor, RRTN values excellence, "learn by doing", entrepreneurial and inventive spirit, passionate and creative self-expression, integrity, and social responsibility.
In doing so, Robert R. Taylor has been an inspiration and has set an archetype for future achievers in the fields of ASTEM.In commemorative to Robert R. Taylor the RRTN is celebrating the generations of black achievements in the fields of ASTEM.
